The winery is a family Karipidis in Vounaina-area of Thessaly in the middle of Central Greece.
There are farmed 30 acres of individually owned.
Vounaina (Vounó = mountain) stands for "little mountain" in the local dialect. It is a hill area rich with ancient wine tradition.
The village extends around the fields of the ancient city Krannonas, near the sources of the river Ojchestos, which takes its name from the mythology of the son of the god Poseidon.
It is located near the river Pineios which flows through the Tempi Valley, to his left and right of the Olympus him of Mount Ossa.
